About Us

Dr. Anni Wang studied Material/Mechanical Engineering at University of South Florida before matriculating to Northwestern University for her Doctor in Physical Therapy. Based on her years of clinical experience, she developed this Scar Roller to help patients post-surgery recover a smooth and minimal invisible incision. Dr. Anni is currently a full time orthopedic physical therapist working at Florida Orthopedic Institute. 

The Scar Roller is designed for post-surgery scar tissue/soft tissue management. It softens and flattens surgical incisions; it can help decrease swelling by improving blood circulation; it can also stimulate peripheral nerve growth to decrease local numbness through vibration. 

The Scar Roller is also a great soft tissue pain management device. By loosening up the tight IT band and thigh musculature, the Scar Roller decreases bursitis pain and muscle strain injury. It helps break down degenerative muscle/fascia knotting and cramping, promoting the tissue return to a smooth, youthful and pain-free state. With effortless one hand use, you can give any of your muscles a home massage.
